Shadowfax Clients in BC’s largest Golf Show
Jordan had the pleasure of seeing our friends at the South Okanagan
Golf Trail participate in Western Canada’s largest golf show this past weekend at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. Randy Laroche from the
Osoyoos Golf and Country Club was manning the booth set up for the marketing cooperative for golf in the South Okanagan. The Osoyoos
Golf and Country Club, Fairview Mountain Golf Course and Nk’Mip
Canyon Desert Golf Course are in their third successful year of
joint marketing efforts to bring destination golfers to the South
Okanagan, Shadowfax is proud to work with these courses by providing
print marketing and advertising materials in support of this
marketing initiative. We are also pleased to offer web design and
hosting services to Osoyoos Golf and Country Club and to Fairview
Mountain Golf Course.

As many of our clients who have visited our studio know, we have been working out of the back of a great old building in downtown Penticton. It has been a challenge for people to find us many occasions. We are pleased to announce that we are still at the same address, but have now moved our offices to the front of the building. Our new studio overlooks the fantastic 200 block of Main Street. We invite any and all of our clients and friends to come by and have a look at the new space!
Tinhorn Creek takes advantage of the cold snap - and it sounds tasty!

The Valley's recent freezing weather has not dampened the spirits of the folks at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. Instead they all bundled up on Tuesday morning to pick grapes for Icewine! Sharon Bonney, Marketing Co-ordinator of Tinhorn told us all about it: "We started at 7 am. It was -13 but someone said that with the wind chill it was closer to -24. It was quite early in the season to be picking icewine so the grapes were in great shape. They get damaged by weather and temperature changes, and dry out the longer they hang. So we think it will be a great year for Icewine. That makes the cold experience worthwhile. Once the press starts pressing the grapes we all had to sample the juice - Yummy, and really, really sweet. We picked 5 tonnes of grapes. The Icewine wine should be ready sometime around July next year."

Amy Pronovost Invited to Dragon Con 2006 in Atlanta

Dragon*Con is America's largest multi-media and popular arts convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy, gaming, comics, literature, art, music and film. The convention, which occurs on September 1 - 4, 2006, has invited Amy as an official guest for her professional artwork, including work for Star Wars Kids and Topps Trading Cards. She will be participating in the Star Wars track at the convention.
Shadowfax Hires New Graphic Designer

Shadowfax would like to welcome to our team, Graphic Designer Amy Pronovost. Amy is a Graphic Designer and Illustrator with a diploma in Graphic Design from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.
She is a world traveler with a global perspective, having lived in New York, Australia and Canada. Since 1996 she has been active in web design and illustration, with over five years experience in print design. As an illustrator Amy has worked for such clients as Lucasfilm and continues to create one-of-a-kind Artist Sketch Cards for Topps Trading Cards.
